Applications for the USDA National Scholars Program are being accepted by the Department of

Agriculture.  Applications must be post mark no later than February 1, 2011.

Reinforcing its commitment to opportunity and excellence

significant expansion of its 2004 financial aid initiative for low and middle-income families. Parents with incomes of less than

Xerox Scholarships for Students

The Technical Minority Scholarship Program was developed

to demonstrate Xerox's strong commitment to providing

financial support and meaningful experiences for

minorities. Scholarships are available to minorities

enrolled in a technical degree program at the bachelor

level or above.

   
Sports Scholarships and Internships

The NCAA awards 13 scholarships to ethnic minorities and

13 scholarships to female college graduates who will be

entering their initial year of postgraduate studies. The

applicant must be seeking admission or have been accepted

into a sports administration or related program that will

help the applicant obtain a career in intercollegiate

athletics, such as athletics administrator, coach,

athletic trainer or other career that provides a direct

service to intercollegiate athletics.  All application

materials must be received by, not postmarked, by

December 6, 2007.

   
National Assoc. of Black Journalists Scholarships

For students interested in pursuing careers in journalism.

Each scholarship is worth up to $5,000. Scholarships are

open to any foreign or American born student, currently

attending an accredited four-year college/university in

the U.S. or those who are candidates for graduate school.

   
Saul T. Wilson Scholarships (Veterinary)

Students interested in the Saul T. Wilson Scholarship

should apply before March 1

   
Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund
Are awarded through the member schools, not directly to
students from TMCF - Students interested in a TMCF
scholarship should contact a scholarship coordinator
at any member college or university and apply through
the school - Member schools select candidates and
contact TMCF to administer the funding
