Small groups serve to facilitate the intentional growth of people who are committed to being learners and followers of Jesus on purpose. They also serve to facilitate relationships within the Christian community. As we grow larger, we must grow smaller at the same time. Everyone will not know everyone because the church is too large for that but everyone needs to be known by someone. Because small groups allow this to happen, we are a big church with small groups.
